JNIM Claims IED Attack on Joint Military Patrol in Timbuktu Region

The target was reportedly a patrol composed of Malian Armed Forces personnel and members associated with the Afrika Korps. The explosion allegedly struck a military vehicle, resulting in multiple casualties, with several deaths and injuries reported. A helicopter was later deployed to evacuate the wounded to Timbuktu, according to local accounts cited in the report.
