Transitional Legislative Assembly Visits Armed Forces Cultural Center to Celebrate Soldier Art
Ouagadougou, December 15, 2025 - The Central Directorate of Culture and Arts of the Armed Forces (DCCA) welcomed a delegation from the Transitional Legislative Assembly (ALT) on Monday, led by its President, Dr. Ousmane Bougma.
The visit showcased artwork produced by wounded soldiers during the “Heroes' Workshop,” a visual arts training program held from August 28 to October 15, 2025.
Dr. Bougma praised the works as a testament to the exceptional courage of Burkina Faso’s Armed Forces, highlighting their ability to transform field hardships into creative expression. He reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to ensuring that “no one will be left behind,” underscoring support for both soldiers and their families.
The event emphasized the role of art in rehabilitation and morale-building within the military, bridging culture, creativity, and national service.
