Traders Protest in Bamako Over Market Fires and Rising Insecurity

Bamako, March 5, 2026 - Traders in Bamako staged protests on Thursday to denounce what they describe as worsening living and working conditions, citing a series of fires in local markets and growing insecurity in the Malian capital.
