Rwandans in Europe to Gather for Dialogue on Unity and Solidarity

Paris, February 19, 2026 - The Rwandan Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement (MINUC) has announced a dialogue aimed at strengthening unity and solidarity among Rwandans living in Europe. The event is scheduled for February 21, 2026, in Paris, France. The dialogue will bring together Rwandans, particularly young people born abroad or who left the country during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, as well as representatives of Rwandan communities from across Europe. Purpose and Focus The event is designed as a platform for sharing ideas and experiences, providing participants with a better understanding of Rwanda’s journey toward national unity and the challenges that have arisen over the years. It will also highlight opportunities for those living abroad to engage with and contribute to their homeland.
