Over 1,000 Flood-Affected Families in Zongo Receive Humanitarian Aid
Kinshasa, December 3, 2025 - Zongo, South Ubangi - December 15, 2025 - More than 1,000 families affected by recent floods in Zongo have received food, non-food items, and financial assistance from the National Solidarity and Humanitarian Disaster Management Fund (CSN-GHC).
Recipients were provided with essential items including rice, beans, sugar, salt, soybeans, semolina, and household goods such as mattresses, buckets, pots, cups, and soap. The aid distribution ceremony took place at the Zongo town hall, with the participation of the mayor, MP Coco Mbozi, representatives of Governor Michée Mobongo, civil society members, and local authorities.
This humanitarian effort complements existing government measures to support residents affected by the torrential rains of 2024, providing relief to the most vulnerable communities.
