Malian Armed Forces Foil Jihadist Attack in Sikasso
Sikasso, December 8, 2025 - The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) successfully repelled a jihadist infiltration near Mahou in the Sikasso region. According to the military, airstrikes neutralized several assailants and destroyed their logistical equipment.
This operation is part of FAMa’s ongoing efforts to counter threats from JNIM, reinforcing vigilance in border areas and enhancing regional security within the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
