Mali Honors Former Qatari Ambassador with National Distinction in Doha
Doha, April 2, 2026 - The Embassy of Mali in Doha awarded a prestigious national honor to a former Qatari diplomat in recognition of his role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. During an official ceremony, Mali’s Ambassador to Qatar, Sidibé Dedeou Ousmane, presented the insignia of Knight of the National Order of Mali to Ahmed Abdulrahman M. Al-Senaidi, former Ambassador of Qatar to Mali. The distinction was conferred on behalf of Mali’s highest authorities as a mark of recognition for Al-Senaidi’s contribution to fostering closer ties and enhancing cooperation between Bamako and Doha during his tenure. Officials at the ceremony highlighted the significance of the award as a symbol of Mali’s appreciation for diplomatic efforts that have strengthened friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
