JNIM Releases Footage of Djenné Crossroads Attack
Mopti, February 21, 2026 - The Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) released footage on Saturday showing its attack on the Djenné crossroads in the Mopti region.
According to reports, the assault resulted in six deaths and caused significant material damage.
The release of the footage underscores the group’s continued propaganda efforts and highlights the persistent insecurity affecting key transport and strategic points in the Mopti region.
