JNIM Escalates Recruitment and Control Measures in Mouhoun Loop
Mouhoun Loop, December 2025 - The militant group JNIM has reportedly intensified its recruitment efforts in the Mouhoun Loop region, imposing strict measures on local populations.
Residents who refuse to join the group are subjected to a monthly tax of approximately $100.
Several villages have reportedly been emptied of inhabitants to allow the establishment of militant camps.
