JNIM Claims Responsibility for Attack on VDP in Karnouf
November 19, 2025 - JNIM announced that it had seized control of a military post belonging to Burkinabe militias in Karnouf, on the outskirts of Titou in the Wahigouya region, on the evening of November 19, 2025. On the same day, the terrorist group also took over two VDP posts in Natiaboani, resulting in casualties and the theft of equipment, including weapons, ammunition, and motorcycles.
