JNIM Claims Multiple Militia Deaths in Boucle du Mouhoun Attacks

Didougou, Boucle du Mouhoun, December 16, 2025 - JNIM reported two separate attacks on Burkinabè militia posts in the Boucle du Mouhoun region.

In Nokouy, three militia members were killed, and military equipment was seized.

In Lanfila, three additional militia members died during an attack last Wednesday, with several small arms reportedly captured.

These incidents highlight the ongoing instability and rising attacks by extremist groups in the region.
