JNIM Claims Multiple Attacks on Military Posts in Didougou
Didougou, December 17, 2025 - The Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) announced two deadly attacks on military posts in Didougou province.
In Nokouy, three Burkinabe militiamen were killed, and military equipment was reportedly seized.
In a separate attack last Wednesday in Lanfila, three additional militiamen lost their lives, with several small arms captured by the group.
These incidents highlight the continuing security threats facing Burkinabe forces in the region.
