Uvira, DRC - December 28, 2025
The Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC) announced on Sunday that Makobola 1, Makobola 2, and surrounding areas have been fully secured.
According to the FARDC, their troops successfully pushed back the AFC/M23 coalition and the Rwandan Defence Forces (RDF), whom they accuse of repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
