The incident follows another drone strike a day earlier on a medical warehouse in Kosti, also in White Nile State, which left three people injured, including a pharmacist. Local sources attributed the hospital attack to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), though casualty figures varied, with some reports indicating slightly lower death tolls, including senior hospital personnel. The attack is part of a broader pattern of violence targeting healthcare services.
