DRC: P-DDRCS Calls on Partners to Support Deployment in Six New Provinces

The national coordinator of the P-DDRCS, Jean-Désiré Ntanga Ntita, appealed on Thursday, November 13, 2025, during a meeting in Kinshasa with UN agencies and several NGOs, for increased support from partners to enable the program's deployment in six additional provinces: Maï-Ndombe, Kwango, Kasaï Central, and Kasaï.

He emphasized the need for strategic alignment to avoid duplication and optimize resources, stressing that the objective for the next three months is to expand the program's activities in support of the peace vision championed by the Head of State.

The deputy coordinator presented the mandate of the mechanism and its operational prospects, an approach aimed at strengthening stabilization, socio-economic reconciliation, and peacebuilding, in accordance with the call made by President Félix Tshisekedi at the 79th United Nations General Assembly.
