November 13, 2025 - Mali/Ivory Coast - Around noon on November 13, an ambulance belonging to the Ansongo Regional Health Center (CSREF) was seized by unidentified armed individuals in Tabango, in the commune of Bara along the Ansongo-Gao road. The fate of the vehicle and its occupants remains unknown.

In response to an unusual influx of Malian refugees fleeing attacks by armed terrorist groups in southern Mali, the Ivorian government announced reinforced security at its northern border. The Ivorian National Security Council (CNS) deployed security forces to manage the movement.

According to sources, over the past three days, Malians have been crossing the border at Zégoua and surrounding areas. Reports indicate ongoing clashes between JNIM and Dozo hunters from villages in the Bougouni and Sikasso regions, near the Ivory Coast.
