Alleged Attacks by Malian Army and Russian Mercenaries in Mopti
Mopti, January 20, 2026 - Residents of Sari Ham, Nima, and Sari Mala, located 15 km south of Mopti, reportedly suffered barbaric acts allegedly carried out by elements of the Malian army and Russian Corps mercenaries.
According to local sources, five people were executed in cold blood without any stated motive or accusation, highlighting ongoing tensions and insecurity in the region.
