AES: Two Burkinabe Envoys Received at Koulouba Palace (December 4, 2025)
Bamako, December 4, 2025 - General Assimi Goïta, President of the Malian military junta and Head of State, received two high-ranking Burkinabe officials at the Koulouba Palace on Thursday, December 4, 2025:
Mr. Bazié Bassolma, President of the National Commission of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)
Colonel-Major Yelemou Ernest, Vice-President of the Commission
The envoys delivered a message from Captain Ibrahim Traoré, President of Burkina Faso, to General Goïta, who also serves as President of the Confederation of Sahel States.
According to Mr. Bazié Bassolma, the message highlights the fraternity, solidarity, and shared commitment of the two countries to strengthening and promoting the AES.
