Governor Bilolo Tours SCAM Agro Complex and Community Services in Tshela

Tshela, Kongo-Central, August 10, 2026 - During an itinerant tour running from August 6 to 12, Kongo-Central Governor Grâce Bilolo held an expanded provincial security committee on August 7 at the SCAM agro-industrial complex of the GBE Agri/Blattner group in Tshela, then met agricultural company heads, notables, and civil society, and held a private exchange with SCAM board chair Cédric Thaunay. On August 8 he toured the Bana SCAM nursery and primary school, the ITAS humanities institute, the SCAM factory, and Pandji Tshela referral hospital, which runs on a 24-hour hybrid solar-hydrogen system built by INNOTECK with Congolese engineers. Group structures presented included rural health (SRC), rural development (DRC), and rural education (ERT), supported by the Blattner Fund. Bilolo praised local employability efforts; GBE Agri comprises nine companies nationwide.
