Bamako, February 24, 2026 - Mali’s Foreign Affairs Minister Abdoulaye Diop took part Tuesday in a collective iftar in the Korofina district of Bamako, as part of Operation “Sunkalo Solidarity 2026,” a national initiative launched by Transitional President General Assimi Goïta to promote solidarity and national unity. The event, held at the ASKO grounds, brought together administrative officials, municipal authorities, and religious leaders in what participants described as a moment of spiritual reflection, community sharing, and social cohesion during the holy month of Ramadan.
