The vessel, Super Bus, was reportedly en route to Bujumbura for repairs. A patrol stopped the boat shortly after it departed from the private port of Kivovo, with 12 crew members on board. It was intercepted by army maritime services and the Wazalendo while patrolling near Makobola.
