World Food Programme extends Djibouti strategic plan through end of 2026 amid funding
Djibouti City, March 17, 2026 - The World Food Programme has extended its strategic plan in Djibouti until December 31, 2026 to ensure continued food assistance for refugees and vulnerable populations.
The decision comes despite a reported funding shortfall of $7.7 million, which continues to affect humanitarian operations in the country.
