Women Leaders Engage Authorities on Dialogue and Governance in Goma
Goma, North Kivu, DRC - December 26, 2025
Corneille Nangaa and Bertrand Bisimwa on Friday received a broad delegation of women leaders from across North Kivu in Goma, including entrepreneurs, traders, customs officers, and political actors, in a meeting focused on dialogue and governance.
The delegation praised improved security in Goma and surrounding areas, citing freer movement and a revival of economic activity. They also expressed satisfaction with socio-economic governance and submitted a memorandum of support for the AFC/M23.
Nangaa acknowledged the recommendations and pledged sector-by-sector solutions starting January 5, emphasizing that women’s stability and empowerment are central to their vision for the DR Congo.
