Successful Mobilization for the RAMU Campaign in Nahouri
Ouagadougou, November 20, 2025 - The enrollment campaign for the Universal Health Insurance Scheme (RAMU) continues to gain strong momentum in the Nahouri region. A supervisory mission, led by the Deputy Director General, Mr. Delwendé Serges Parfait Kagambèga, visited the area on November 18, 2025, to assess progress.
During the visit, the mission met with the local team responsible for information, awareness, and registration, led by Mr. Issaka Garango.
Mr. Garango praised the mobilization of administrative staff, who have been fully engaged since operations launched on November 10.
This momentum continued on November 19 with targeted awareness sessions. These meetings reached key audiences, particularly healthcare professionals and stakeholders in the legal sector, aiming to strengthen their understanding of the objectives and challenges of the RAMU system.
Campaign leaders highlighted that this strong participation reflects a collective commitment to support the implementation of the Universal Health Insurance Scheme, a major reform designed to improve access to healthcare across Burkina Faso.
