Strengthening the Ouagadougou-Bratislava Axis: H.E. Maïmounata OUATTARA Presents Credentials to President Peter PELLEGRI

Bratislava, November 24, 2025 - Her Excellency Maïmounata OUATTARA, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Burkina Faso to the Slovak Republic, officially presented her credentials to President Peter PELLEGRINI on November 18, 2025, in accordance with established diplomatic protocol.

This formal and courteous ceremony provided the Ambassador an opportunity to convey the fraternal greetings of His Excellency Captain Ibrahim TRAORÉ, President of Burkina Faso, to her Slovak counterpart. She also reaffirmed Burkina Faso’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.

In response, President PELLEGRINI expressed his desire to intensify diplomatic relations with Burkina Faso, as well as with other countries represented in Slovakia. He further shared Slovakia’s new strategic vision, aimed at diversifying partnerships, with particular emphasis on collaborations with Africa and Southeast Asia.
