Kinshasa, November 6, 2025 - Katogota, Uvira, South Kivu, DRC - Heavy rains on November 4, 2025, left around 100 families homeless in Katogota, Uvira territory, as 143 houses were destroyed and the roofs of two primary schools and the local 8th CEPAC church were severely damaged.
Some residents were reportedly swept away by the Ruzizi River, though the exact number remains unclear.
