Serbia-DRC: Presidents Tshisekedi and Vučić Reinforce Bilateral Partnership

Belgrade, November 28, 2025 - During a meeting in Belgrade, Presidents Félix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the two nations in key sectors such as agriculture, defense, education, health, and youth development.

The leaders discussed initiatives including scholarships for Congolese students, technology transfer, training, modernization of agricultural practices, and the enhancement of military cooperation.

President Tshisekedi, on a three-day state visit, recalled the partnership opportunities offered by the DRC and welcomed the continuation of commitments made during his previous meeting with Mr. Vučić at the United Nations General Assembly in September 2024, emphasizing the importance of consolidating friendship and collaboration between the two countries.
