Rwandan Embassy in Pakistan to Host ‘Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026’
Islamabad, January 22, 2026 - The Rwandan Embassy in Pakistan, in collaboration with the National Agriculture Export Board (NAEB), has announced the organization of the Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026, scheduled for January 29, 2026, at the Mövenpick Hotel in Islamabad. The festival aims to promote Rwandan coffee internationally, with a particular focus on expanding trade and investment opportunities in the Pakistani market. Rwanda is renowned for its high-quality highland coffee, recognized for its unique flavor and aroma. The event will bring together Rwandan delegations, ambassadors, coffee experts, traders, processors, investors, and other stakeholders. Activities will include demonstrations of professional coffee production and preparation, a documentary showcasing the journey of Rwandan coffee from farm to cup, and guided visits to Rwandan coffee export operations. Coffee remains one of Rwanda’s key economic crops. According to NAEB, Rwandan coffee exports generated over Rwf 216 billion in 2025, up from Rwf 129 billion in 2024, reflecting a significant increase in international demand. Social and Health
