BRAZZAVILLE - Rwanda participated as guest of honor at the 30th “Vendredis de Carrefour” forum, held in Brazzaville from December 4-5, 2025, bringing together more than 700 economic and development experts from Central Africa.

Speaking at the forum, NAEB Director General Claude Bizimana highlighted Rwanda’s development strategy, citing growth in agricultural exports, industrialization, and job creation driven by the “Made in Rwanda” policy and food self-sufficiency programs launched in 2017.

Bizimana also underscored the impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), noting that Rwanda’s exports have doubled since early implementation. Rwandan coffee and tea were showcased at the event, allowing participants to sample products now gaining international markets.

The annual forum, organized by Think-Tank Carrefour, focuses on policy-driven strategies to boost domestic production, economic growth, and regional development across Africa.
