Rwanda Launches One Stop Center Website to Streamline Investment Services

Kigali, January 2, 2026 - The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) announced that its One Stop Center (OSC) website will officially launch on January 5, 2026, consolidating a wide range of investment and trade services online to improve accessibility, speed, and transparency.

The OSC website, accessible at http://onestopcentre.rdb.rw, will allow users to apply for permits, track applications, and access services previously scattered across multiple institutions.

RDB Director General Jean-Guy Afrika said the initiative will integrate over 460 services from 24 institutions, covering areas such as construction permits and agricultural processing licenses, with more services expected to be added in the coming months.

“RDB is on a journey to modernize the way it provides services through the One Stop Center. The goal is to simplify service delivery, reduce application processing times, and increase transparency,” Afrika said.

The move builds on a 2023 revamp of the One Stop Center, which aimed to centralize service provision, and reflects Rwanda’s continued commitment to fostering a favorable business environment for investors.

According to RDB, Rwanda recorded $3.2 billion (over Rwf 4,528 billion) in new investments in 2024, up from $2.4 billion in 2023, reinforcing the country’s position as a leading investment destination in the region.

By consolidating services digitally, the OSC website is expected to facilitate investor engagement, reduce bureaucracy, and accelerate project implementation across the country.
