Prime Minister Maïga Inaugurates the Palace of Pioneers

Bamako, March 10, 2026 - Major General Abdoulaye Maïga, Mali’s Prime Minister, presided over the inauguration of the Palace of Pioneers, a modern educational and event complex for Malian youth, on Tuesday in Magnambougou, 6th arrondissement of Bamako. The three-hectare facility was described as a flagship project aimed at nurturing the potential of Mali’s youth. The ceremony highlighted remarks from President of the Transition Assimi Goïta, who emphasized that “youth is Mali’s greatest asset” and that the nation’s sovereignty and prosperity will be built through their commitment, discipline, and patriotism. The Palace of Pioneers is expected to serve as a hub for educational programs, cultural activities, and events, reflecting Mali’s focus on youth development and civic engagement.
