President Tiani’s Regional Tour Culminates in Triumphant Dosso RallyDosso, Niger - His Excellency Brigadier General Abdo
Niamey, November 2, 2025 - The visit, which quickly evolved into a vibrant demonstration of public support, saw the Head of State greeted by jubilant crowds from his arrival at the PK5 entrance to Gaya through to the regional capital. A convoy of motorcyclists, tricycles, and vehicles led by local youth accompanied the President, reflecting broad grassroots enthusiasm. Along the route, administrative, customary, and religious authorities, alongside citizens of all ages, turned out in large numbers to welcome him.
The highlight of the visit took place at the Place d’Armes of Defense Zone No. 7 in Dosso, where President Tiani addressed members of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). He praised their “noble struggle” to safeguard the nation and assured them of the government’s continued support in maintaining peace and stability across Niger.
The tour also included stops in Kodo, Dar Es Salam, and Margou Béné, where the President interacted directly with local communities. The events served as a strong indicator of popular alignment with the national refoundation agenda and reaffirmed President Tiani’s enduring connection with citizens beyond the capital.
