PPRD Says Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary Abducted
Kinshasa, December 2, 2025 - The PPRD has accused security forces of abducting its Permanent Secretary, Emmanuel Ramazani Shadary, from his home at around 4:00 a.m. on December 16, 2025, and taking him to an unknown location.
In a statement, Aristote Ngarime, the party’s national secretary for communication, denounced the act as dictatorial and demanded Shadary’s immediate release.
Shadary, a former Maniema governor and 2018 presidential candidate, is currently a member of parliament and a senior figure within the former ruling party.
