Minister of National Education Meets World Bank Delegation to Strengthen Partnership
Bamako, January 30, 2026 - The Minister of National Education, Mr. Amadou Sy Savane, received a World Bank delegation on Friday, January 30, 2026, during which the institution reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Mali, particularly in the education sector.
Mr. Abdramane Coulibaly, World Bank Country Manager for Mali, underscored the Bank’s determination to maintain and strengthen the existing partnership with the Malian authorities.
The Minister noted that the meeting provided an opportunity to review ongoing initiatives and to better guide future actions aimed at improving learning outcomes, expanding access to education, and strengthening governance and institutional capacities.
