Minister of Health Meets UN and World Bank Representatives to Strengthen Cooperation
Bamako, February 23, 2026 - Colonel-Major Assa Badiallo Touré, Minister of Health and Social Development, held meetings with key international partners on Monday, February 23, 2026, to enhance strategic partnerships in the health sector. The minister first met Ms. Hanaa Singer, UN Resident Coordinator in Mali, focusing on: Strengthening humanitarian cooperation Aligning interventions with government priorities Implementing the 2026 humanitarian plan He subsequently met the World Bank Health Project Manager in Mali, further reinforcing collaboration to support health system development and project execution.
