Minister Assa Badiallo Touré Discusses Humanitarian and Health Cooperation
Bamako, February 24, 2026 - Colonel-Major Assa Badiallo Touré, Minister of Health and Social Development, held two successive audiences focused on humanitarian and health matters.
In the first meeting, the minister welcomed Ms. Sidibé Dedeou OUSMANE, Malian Ambassador to Qatar, to discuss strengthening bilateral economic, social, cultural, and health cooperation between Bamako and Doha.
In the second audience, General Ila Cissé, responsible for the Sénou internally displaced persons (IDP) site, informed the minister of the voluntary return of some IDPs who had been residing at the site since 2018, highlighting ongoing efforts in social reintegration and humanitarian support.
