Gogui, February 20, 2026 - Dozens of Mauritanian truck owners stranded on the Malian side of the border at Gogui are calling on Mauritanian authorities to intervene urgently amid a growing logistical and regulatory dispute.

According to transporters, their vehicles have been immobilized for a week by Malian authorities, who are detaining trucks arriving from Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast over alleged overloading violations.
