Malian Delegation Concludes Diplomatic Study Visit to Morocco

Bamako, April 2, 2026 - A delegation from Mali has concluded a study visit to Morocco, aimed at strengthening diplomatic capacity and fostering institutional cooperation between the two countries.

Led by Mahamane Amadou Maïga, Chargé d’Affaires at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the delegation held a series of meetings in Rabat from March 31 to April 2. The exchanges were described as constructive and focused on sharing experiences and best practices in diplomacy.

During the visit, Malian officials engaged with senior representatives of Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Living Abroad. Discussions notably involved key institutions such as the Moroccan Institute for Diplomatic Training, Research, and Studies, the Directorate of Public Diplomacy and Non-State Actors, and the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation.

The mission forms part of broader efforts to deepen bilateral relations, with a particular emphasis on diplomatic training, public diplomacy, and the development of sustainable institutional partnerships between Bamako and Rabat.
