Malian Army Kills 20 Terrorists in Central Mali Offensive

Niono - October 13, 2025 - The Malian Armed Forces announced the neutralization of around 20 terrorists during a military operation in central Mali.

According to the General Staff, soldiers stationed in Bewani conducted an offensive reconnaissance mission in two villages within the Niono district. The operation resulted in the recovery of weapons, military equipment, and motorcycles used by the militants.

Military authorities emphasized their continued commitment to combating terrorism across the country, reassuring local populations of the army’s determination to secure central Mali against armed groups.
