Mali Welcomes Belarusian Business Delegation
Bamako, November 10, 2025 - On November 12, Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Mali, received a high-level delegation of business leaders from Belarus on a working visit.
Minister Diop welcomed the economic exploratory mission, conducted amid a challenging security context and hostile media campaigns aimed at destabilizing the country. He presented Mali's new vision for integrated development, emphasizing economic transformation through diversified partnerships based on shared interests. The minister also highlighted the business climate, national economic landscape, and investment opportunities in strategic sectors such as mining, agriculture, transportation, industry, energy, and infrastructure.
Impressed by Mali's economic potential, the Belarusian delegation expressed interest in placing Mali on its economic agenda and developing a mutually beneficial partnership, reinforcing political and diplomatic relations. Both sides welcomed the convergence of views and stressed the need to continue sectoral exchanges to accelerate pragmatic economic and trade cooperation.
