Mali: November 26, 2025 - Massacres and Abductions in Timbuktu Region
On November 26, 2025, multiple atrocities were reported in the Timbuktu region:
Taroma: 1 dead and 1 shepherd taken prisoner
Amarnane: 4 dead, victims massacred and burned
Nijhaltate: 4 dead (2 men, including one blind, and 2 women, including one girl; bodies not yet recovered) and 4 women injured, 2 of whom were hospitalized in Timbuktu
These incidents underscore the escalating violence against civilians and the serious humanitarian crisis in northern Mali.
