In the capital, the situation remains alarming, with widespread power outages and endless queues at the few remaining open gas stations, where residents wait up to seven hours to fill up. Truck drivers are on strike, left to fend for themselves after the coup leaders and generals, holed up in their offices, failed to ensure their safety.
