Mali | AfDB and ANASER Deliver Medical Equipment to Major Hospitals
Bamako, January 16, 2026 - The Minister of Health and Social Development today presided over the handover of medical equipment to the Gabriel Touré University Hospital, the Kati University Hospital, and the Mali Hospital, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, who attended to underscore the strategic importance of strengthening the national health system. This ceremony, organized in two parts, reflects the commitment of the authorities and their partners to improving health services and strengthening emergency care, particularly for cases related to road accidents. The first phase of the ceremony was marked by the delivery of equipment valued at nearly 1.5 billion CFA francs, provided by the African Development Bank (AfDB), with support from ANASER.
