Kongo-Central: Governor Launches Rehabilitation of 550 km of Agricultural Roads in Seke-Banza
Kinzau Nvuete, Kongo-Central, DRC - On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Governor Grâce Nkuanga Bilolo officially launched the rehabilitation of 550 kilometers of agricultural access roads in the Seke-Banza territory.
Funded with 3.85 billion Congolese francs by the Toll and Weighing Rights Management Agency (AGDP), the project aims to open up rural areas, improve transportation of agricultural products, and stimulate local economic activity.
Implemented by the Kongo-Central Public Works Agency, the first phase-scheduled over nine months-will focus on key axes including Kinzau-Mvuete, Seke-Banza, Mbatassiala, and Lombo-Fuese-Kilukweta. Authorities highlighted that the upgraded roads will better connect production basins to urban markets, enhancing food security and fostering sustainable development across the province.
