Kinshasa: Warrant Officer Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison in Honorine Porsche Case
Kinshasa, November 10, 2025 - The Kinshasa-Gombe Military Court has delivered its verdict in the Honorine Porsche case, linked to the Rawbank Victoire robbery of October 16. On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the court sentenced a warrant officer to ten years in prison for the mistreatment of the victim, while acquitting the police officers involved.
The court also ordered the payment of $5,000 in damages to Honorine Porsche, who was assaulted during the incident. Both the defense and prosecution have announced plans to appeal the decision.
Meanwhile, the separate trial concerning the robbery itself is still ongoing, with a reconstruction of events scheduled for November 7 at the Rawbank Victoire branch in Kinshasa.
