Kinshasa: Samuel Mbemba calls on Africa to unite against the massacres in eastern DRC
At the close of the African forum on transitional justice, held from 30 September to 2 October 2025 in Kinshasa under the auspices of the African Union and the Congolese Government, the Minister for Human Rights, Samuel Mbemba, issued an urgent call for mobilisation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reaffirming the Congolese state's commitment to strengthening the system of reparations for victims throughout the country, he stressed that this struggle transcends borders and political divisions, calling on African countries to translate their commitments into concrete action.
