Kananga: 135 Military Magistrates Sworn In to Strengthen FARDC Justice System
Kananga, November 20, 2025 - A total of 135 new military magistrates from the 2024-2025 class were officially sworn in, marking their integration into the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (FARDC). The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita.
Trained at the Military Academy of the Officer Training School over nine months, the new magistrates pledged to uphold legal integrity, impartiality, and rigorous application of the law, particularly amid ongoing operations against armed groups such as the AFC/M23 coalition. They were called upon to embody discipline, loyalty, and equitable justice in performing their duties.
