Kagame And AfDB Chief Discuss Investment And Development Partnership
Kigali, August 25, 2026 - President Paul Kagame met African Development Bank President Sidi Ould Tah in Kigali for talks on Rwanda's partnership with the bank and wider priorities for African development.
The discussions followed the two-day Africa Mindset Reset Forum in Kigali. The leaders exchanged views on investment promotion, economic priorities and efforts to accelerate development across the continent.
The African Development Bank remains a major development finance partner for Rwanda. As of 2024, it had provided $3.1 billion in financing for 96 projects, making the relationship significant for infrastructure, public investment and investor confidence.
