Joint UN-DRC mission to Tanganyika: evaluation of the 2025-2029 cooperation framework
On Friday 10 October 2025, a joint mission composed of representatives of the United Nations and the Congolese government began in Kalemie, the capital of Tanganyika province. The objective of this week-long mission is to assess progress made under the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (CCDD 2025-2029), focusing on the cities of Kalemie and Nyunzu.
Led by Anne-Marie Dongi, Deputy Director of the United Nations Joint Human Rights Office (BCNDH), the mission aims to review the alignment of activities with the framework's objectives, gather feedback from beneficiaries, assess the results achieved and identify the challenges faced by United Nations teams on the ground.
