JNIM Publishes Infographic Detailing January-February Operations
Sahel, February 20, 2026 - The Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) released an infographic summarizing its operations during the Islamic month of Sha’ban (January-February 2026).
According to the publication, JNIM carried out:
More than 60 raids
Over 11 ambushes
More than 28 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) detonated
241 deaths reported
The group also claimed to have seized a large number of vehicles, motorcycles, and munitions during these operations, highlighting the ongoing security challenges across the Sahel region.
